Angelina Killane-Sims . . .
I introduced my friend Angelina a few months ago. She is such a wonderful person who lovingly gives of herself that I wanted to spot-light her again.
My name is Angelina Killane-Sims and I am the founder of AAngelsNJ, a breast cancer awareness, education and resource services organization. AAngelsNJ is a federally recognized 501c3 nonprofit organization.
At the age of 39, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. I truly believe that my late stage diagnosis is because of my lack of breast cancer awareness + breast health education in general. After chemotherapy, radiation + a multitude of surgeries, I decided that I wanted to make sure that as many women as possible would have the access to awareness, education and the resources that are available to them.

AAngelsNJ participates in community health fairs, school and church functions throughout New Jersey. If we are invited, we will attend.
Our mission is to serve and provide free resources to underserved + underinsured individuals and families. We are committed to educating and navigating them through issues surrounding preventive care, pre and post breast cancer diagnoses and all aspects of breast health.
Our ultimate goal + vision is to eliminate breast cancer related deaths due to late stage diagnoses. Early detection really does save lives.
