Exfoliate My What???

Exfoliation . . .
is the removal of dry + dead skin cells on the surface of the skin and is 1 of the most important aspects of your skincare routine for face + body. Exfoliation not only helps minimize + eliminate many skin problems, it also increases blood flow + circulation, which in turn helps you to achieve healthy + glowing skin.

It’s suggested that we exfoliate 1x or 2 x a month.
After exfoliating, hydrate your skin from the outside-in by applying a good facial moisturizer to damp skin . . . I prefer to dampen my skin with ionized acid Beauty Water.
Do not expose your exfoliated skin to UV rays, sun, sunbed for 24 hours.
While removing dead surface skin, it’s important to drink plenty water . . . my water of choice is ionized alkaline water.

Benefits of Exfoliation . . .
Helps to remove acne by gently stripping the skin of acne-causing bacteria.
Helps to remove blemishes + acne scars by removing those damaged skin cells + encourage new healthy skin tissue to grow.

Helps unclog pores + to draw out congestion, otherwise known as blackheads + whiteheads. Most common areas for breakouts are the nose, chin and forehead.
Is beneficial in breaking up pigmented cells, encouraging them to fade.

Have you ever noticed that no matter how much oil, lotion or butter you put on your skin; that your skin remains dry??? When you don’t exfoliate, that great lotion just sits on the top of your skin because it cannot penetrate dead skin cells.

Helps eliminate dry skin. When skin is exfoliated, it receives hydration + moisture better.
Helps increase blood circulation + lymphatic system which is beneficial in helping to encourage healthy new skin cells, breaking down fatty tissue + drain toxins from the skin.

Exfoliate My What???

Many exfoliate their face + body; however, not many exfoliate their scalp . . . heck, most people have never heard of scalp exfoliation!!!

The Benefits of Exfoliating Your Scalp . . .
You just read the many benefits of exfoliating your face + body.  The same is true for the scalp . . . hey, it’s skin, right?

Cleanses + clarifies the scalp to remove dirt, debris, sebum and the buildup of dead skin cells, which can block pores, making the skin on the scalp less healthy. Removes product build-up.
Unclogs hair follicles.
Improves blood flow + circulation to the scalp + encourages vitamins, minerals + other vital nutrients to hair follicles via the bloodstream, to nourish healthy hair growth.
Helps to eliminate dry, itchy scalp + dandruff.
Helps to invigorate the scalp.
Helps to provide an environment for healthy hair growth.

After lots of research, I’ve created what I consider to be the best + most beneficial scalp scrub.  Introducing . . . Scalp Exfoliating + Stimulating Sugar Scrub . . .

Our Scalp Exfoliating + Stimulating Sugar Scrub, infused with natural caffeine, is ideal for those with clogged follicles + those who just want to stimulate their scalp to help with blood circulation + to create an environment of healthy, growing hair. Our all natural scalp scrub exfoliates to remove dead skin cells, opens hair follicles, removes excess sebum + impurities on the scalp’s surface that block oxygen + repels water and nourishes + cleanses the scalp.  It’s great for beard skin, too!

Do you exfoliate your scalp?
