I’m Back . . .

It’s been a while since I posted in my blog; instead, I’ve been using facebook more often to post.

How’s everyone doing?  What’s new with you?

I’ve have a lot going on; instead of sharing with you all at once . . . I’ll give it to you a little at a time.  GoDaddy no longer supports their QuickBlogCast so I’m now using WordPress.  I thank you in advance for your patience as I navigate through this system + get my template up to snuff with appearance, text + colors.  ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED!

Last Saturday I vended at the mane event, hotter than july @ the Luna Stage in West Orange, NJ.  Sales were OK + I made plenty contacts.  However, I was a little confused . . . vendors were in two rooms.  In one room God spoke light into existence + called it day . . . the room was brightly lit, this room also housed one of the workshop hosts where she was doing demonstrations.  God called the room I was in night . . . the room was a theater.  The walls were painted black + the only lighting was stage or spot lighting . . . you could hardly see; not to mention I shared a darker corner with speakers + sound equipment.  What was interesting is that I had to position prospective clients to stand in front of the spotlight so I was not blinded by the light.  I usually don’t gripe or complain but I noticed a big discrepancy between the placement of vendors . . . talking about feeling like a red-headed stepchild!  You know what they say . . . location, location, location!  I’m going to send the planner an email suggesting a venue next year when every vendor FEELS equal.

Anywhoo . . . These are the things that make you go humm!  Next time remember to ask questions BEFORE paying the fee . . .

I just needed to get that off my chest.

Since my last post, I’ve fallen in L-O-V-E.  Yes, I said the “L” word. I absolutely love making + drinking homebrewed kombucha + homemade kefir!  These two gut-healthy probiotic drinks are not only healthy but are great for your skin!  So far, I’ve made kombucha soap, kefir soap, kombucha kefir soap, a kombucha facial toner + even added kombucha + SCOBY to a clarifying shampoo bar!

Raw Kombucha Black
Organic Whole Milk Kefir
Raw Kombucha Black Soap (includes the SCOBY)

I’d love to hear from you!  What’s on your heart . . . or mind?

Until we meet again,
